Locusts in the House

4:30 am Kyle and Brittany wake up to a loud buzzing noise.
4:32 am Kyle discovers and kills locust #1.
4:45 am Steel brings locust #2 in the house.
4:49 am After swatting locust #2 around our bedroom for a few minutes, Steel leaves him right next to Brittany's bedside.
7:02 am Brittany begs Kyle to discard locust #2.

And then she's the one who gets to sleep all day while we are working...

Steel

The other day, Steel was rustling around in the pantry. I sneaked around the corner (camera in hand) to see what she was up to and this is what I found.

Noice her bushy tail! She was scared and couldn't get out of the paper towel bag. HA!

Steel Learns to Use a Doggy Door

Steel was born March 26, 2008.

She entered my life on May 23, 2008.

She entered our new home on January 15, 2009.

She exited our doggy door sometime in March.

Our doggy door is the most fun thing about our house. The pets love it.
